Casino pay and staffing rise together

 

The number of workers employed in Macau’s gaming industry, excluding junket operators, rose 9.2 percent to 54,835 at the end of 2012 from a year earlier, according to government data. Average monthly pay for full-time staff reached 18,040 patacas ($2,208), up 7.9 percent.
