Crown Ltd. restructured the management of its Australian operations, installing Barry Felstead, previously chief executive of Crown Perth, as chief executive of Australian resorts and giving him responsibility for VIP operations. Crown said that Greg Hawkins, chief executive of Crown Melbourne, would step down from that role as it is combined with Felstead’s but might stay on as a consultant. It said Felstead would maintain offices in both Melbourne and Perth. The Australian reported that Hawkins’ job is one of about 100 that have been cut as part of a cost reduction effort, with 50 of those positions in marketing.
