IPL cricketeers released on bail


A Delhi court released cricketeers  Shanthakumaran  Sreesanth and Ankeet Chavan and 17 other suspects in the Indian Premier League bet fixing case on bail.  The Board of Control for Cricket in India meanwhile suspended  Raj Kundra, owner of the the cricketeers’ Twenty20 squad, the Rajasthan Royals, from involvement in cricket over his alleged betting on matches. Kundra’s passport was seized last week. Vikram Aggarwal, owner of the Radisson Blu Hotel in Chennai, was arrested by Tamil Nadu police for allegedly allowing his hotel to be used as a base for bookies and other involvement in cricket betting.
