Parrikar flip flops on benefits of casino revenue

 

The chief minister for the Indian state of Goa, Manohar Parrikar, was accused of lying to Goans about the need for casinos to supply revenue for state-run projects such as seniors’ homes.  Addressing the media, Congress spokesperson Aleixio Reginaldo Lourenco said that Parrikar had previously told the state legislative assembly that casino revenue would be bad for Goa.
