Tinian Dynasty trial delayed till December

Ramona V. Manglona, chief judge of the US District Court for the Northern Marianas Islands, agreed to delay the trial of Tinian Dynasty Hotel and Casino and two executives on charges of conspiring to avoid filing reports to the US government on large cash transactions until December 2. The trial had been to start August 19 after an earlier one-month postponement. Manglona said he agreed with the defendants need to take more time to prepare given the complexity of the case. The lawyer for casino manager Tim Blythe opposed the casino’s request for a delay, saying the charges were straightforward.
